Halloween Weekend Events 2016

Paint your face, prep your costume, and get ready to freak out at the hottest Halloween parties in the city. October 31 falls on a Monday this year, which means that you have a whole weekend of wilding out before All Hallows Eve. 

 

Like to do it up big? Head to the world's largest Halloween street party, the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. Join the churning parade of half a million rowdy revelers in risque costumes and make your way from stage to stage on Santa Monica Boulevard. 

 

Explore the haunted hallways of the Queen Mary in Long Beach at Dark Harbor, a haunted house slash costume party with full bar, vintage Ferris wheel, and monster-filled mazes. Steampunk gets scary at The Edison, which hosts subterranean parties throughout the weekend - La Nuit de Diable on Saturday and Cabaret L'Enfer on Halloween night.

 

Afraid of killer clowns? There will be plenty of them at Escape: Psycho Circus, Insomniac's annual Halloween rave at NOS Events Center. Held on Friday and Saturday nights, this dance festival includes spooky mazes, freak show attractions, and headlining performances by Tiesto, Four Tet, and Kaskade.

 

Sultry Sweet hosts a special Halloween show at El Cid called Asylum, a Burlesque InsTITution - featuring a live band, hilarious cabaret singers, and tapas throughout the night. 

 

Dance all night at Halloweenie, one of the city's top gay Halloween parties - or get your gothic on at the Ace Hotel's Bloodsuckers Bash.Dress up fancy for the UNICEF Masquerade Ball, a black tie event in DTLA with sexy masks and flowing Champagne.

 

The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel flexes its haunted history with a Saturday night fete, featuring DJs, sinister decor, and ghostly apparitions.Stuck in the Valley? The Federal Bar's NoHo Monster Bash is the place to be, with live performances, costume contests, and a theme of "Heroes vs. Villains."
