It's not summer in LA without Santa Monica's free Twilight Concerts at the Pier. Taking place every Thursday evening on the famous Pier, this weekly series features all kinds of music, from indie pop and R&B to Latin, reggae, classic rock and Americana. Chill out in the relaxing seaside setting, hit the beer garden, and savor the summer with a free night of music.

Listen to live music in the open air, dance next to the ocean, and watch the sunset from the celebrated Santa Monica Pier every week at Twilight Concerts at the Pier - for free! Every Thursday night from July 9 through September 10, Santa Monica's famous Pier hosts a free outdoor concert from 7PM to 10PM. This popular outdoor event features a dynamic variety of music that changes every week, and includes indie rock, R&B, Latin, Americana, reggae/dancehall, indie pop, classic rock, New Orleans brass bands and more. Now in its 31st year, this LA summertime tradition features seating on the beach, as well as deck seating and VIP spots in the shade. Along with the live music and breezy seaside atmosphere, you'll find a tempting selection of food and drinks on the Pier - along with a beer garden inside the concert.

Parking lots fill up fast at this top tourist destination, so arrive early to find your spot at one of three nearby lots. Better yet, take public transportation, or ride your own set of wheels - the Pier offers valet parking for skateboards and bikes.
