Spilt is essentially a live art event in which the artists choose how they present the process and product of their work. A crushingly simple, direct, and unique concept, Split asks the artists, "Do your thing." Nothing more, nothing less, no molding their works into the confines of a prescribed exhibition format. The artists, expressing themselves and their process, get to add another dimension to their expression. It's now a performance, with no discernible boundaries. The viewer is introduced to the art in a way they've never been privy to seeing before, they can now appreciate not only the end product, but all the machinations it took to get to that end.

Basically, this is a great idea, and everyone should check it out. It's only a $5 donation, with DJs, food, entertainment, and a dance floor all night. It's for one night only, so be sure to check it out!
