The Standard Hotel downtown is giving a pretty sweet deals to couples on Valentines's Day. They're offering two nights in a huge room with a tub so deep it's a small pool, breakfast in bed, kama-sutra, bubble bath, and champagne amenities. (Although we're quite sure you can provide your own kama sutra just fine... but if you need a little help, The Standard is there.) Get all that plus access to the famed rooftop for a mere $520.
If you've got your own post-Valentine's Day dinner options covered, check out The Standard for dinner - have a three course prefix dinner with a champagne cocktail for only $130 a couple. If you'd like to have yourself a Standard Valentine's Day, make your reservation now!

Don’t do something lame for Valentine’s Day like waste money at an expensive restaurant (you know they jack up the prices just for Valentine’s Day, right? It’s better to go the day after…). Go out, get some exercise, and play games with your Valentine’s Day sweetie. Do a Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt in Venice! Brought to you by the Waterfront Cafe, you can uncover the secrets of Venice Beach. You can rent a bike or bring your own. The top three teams win prizes, and afterwards you can enjoy a cheap beer and pretzel at the Waterfront! It's just the kind of Valentine's Day date that can either make or break a fledgling relationship - but it's guaranteed to be fun in the process!

If you haven't yet been to Saints & Sinners in Culver City, there's no better time than now. They've started doing tequila tastings - 3 shots of small-batch tequila from makers you probably haven't heard of for $25. It's a great deal, especially considering each shot is $11 - $15 each, and that the bartender is extremely knowledgeable about each tequila and takes pride in explaining how each tequila is made. They also carry their own beers, an amber ale that's the perfect mix between light and refreshing and a full meal in a glass. They do have their mix of themed cocktails, like Holy Water and the Blue-Eyed Devil (which is delicious!), so whatever you're looking for in the way of imbibements, you'll be sure to find the best here. The decor is gilded gold and glittery (even the bathrooms!), and the speakers are usually blasting heavy metal (on Sundays!), or some other obscure tune. Next time you're in the neighborhood, but sure to stop by! 10899 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.
