Another great option for Happy hour on Monday is Barbarella Bar. This Silver Lake newb just opened last month and is already creating a buzz. It doesn't typically fit the Silver Lake "norm", its more upscale with more of a lounge feel, and less dive, but hey I think that diversity is what makes America, and Silver Lake great. Ok moving on from my rant, Barbarella Bar offers a fantastic happy hour and on Monday that party goes all night with specialty martinis going for 6 bucks all night, draft beers at $4 and delicious food options like tuna tar tar, cheese empanadas and hummus all of $6! The fancy persons answer to happy hour for sure. Be sure to check out the gravity defying corsets the lady bartenders don, it's simply mesmerizing.

Friendly bartenders, good food, decent whiskey/beer prices, and music: what more could you ask for out of an Irish pub? Clancy's in Long Beach has many claims to fame, including daily entertainment in the form of karaoke, live music, and sports games. The venue is also home to a Miller-Lite commercial, and was chosen because of its impressive, stone-brick layout. View
