Editorial Review

Boston sports fans in Los Angeles, look no further for a local spot to watch your teams. Sonny McClean's is your go-to that happens to serve dishes such as homemade pot-pies. If the New England sports vibe isn't your forte, not to worry. Come listen to live music or karaoke while enjoying a hearty meal, made by the talented Chef Joe.

For a weekday lunch, weekend breakfast, to watch Boston sports, or for a fun and chill time out in Santa Monica, have fun at Sonny McClean's, named after a friendly Irish Bostonian who fought in World War II (grandfather to the pub's founder). The sports-friendly pub features mainly Boston games, but with over 20 televisions, they may be generous enough to put the Dodgers, Lakers, or Kings on. Sports memorabilia for the Celtics and Sox hang neatly on the walls. In a nutshell, Sonny's is a spacious venue with plenty of seating, but still manages to sustain that cozy pub-like feel patrons love. On karaoke and music nights, the bar's vibe becomes lively and friendly. Bartender, servers and cooks work hard to get you quick but good quality food, and stiff drinks. Darts, live bands, and acoustic nights provide enough entertainment for us all. While St. Patty's Day is special for all Irish pubs, Sonny's is taking it to the next level. The weekend menu includes corned beef specials and Irish stew, just to name a few. Best of all, there will be Irish bands and a beer garden morning through night, throughout the weekend. Be sure to sport your Sox shirt or a festive green tee to show off your spirit. The pub will open at 9am on St. Patty's, and feature a special menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try the Irish potatoes with corned beef and lime-infused creme to coat your tummy before the day's festivities.
