Drum and bass dominates at Respect, LA's weekly club night that has showcased the genre for a decade and a half. Taking place every Thursday night at Dragonfly in Hollywood, Respect earns its title with an always-fresh roster of headliners from the US, UK and beyond. You’ll also hear up-and-coming producers and performers, including MCs that stay true to the roots of the dark, gritty sound. Along with drum and bass, you’ll encounter variations on heavy bass music, such as breaks, grime, dubstep and other mutant offspring. Respect is a cozy community night with great vibes and an underground feel. There's never a dress code, but there might be a mosh pit - so come correct. The 21+ club night is hosted by Junglist Platoon, and residents of Respect include hard hitters Machete, Scooba, Clutch, Noface, Drone, MC XYZ, Gil Konspiracy and Justin Ford.
