Lineup: Faulkner"A lot has changed since the Bi-Coastal band Faulkner formed a year ago in Venice CA. On the strength of their online demo "I'm Stoned," the band attracted the attention of producers Mark Needham (The Killers) and JP Bowersock (The Strokes) to begin work on their debut album. Near the end of the sessions that became known as "Street Axioms," Wu-Tang Clan mastermind RZA heard a live version of their song "NY Anthem." The celebrated MC responded so positively to the track the he offered to collaborate as a co-writer and producer on the record. RZA met the band at Rick Rubin's Shangri LA Studio and the new partnership was born. "Street Axioms," Faulkner's 11 song LP offers a cohesive experience with the rawness of primary songwriter Lucas Asher (Prometheus) and the technicality of bandmate/producer Eric Scullin (PrinceVince,) supported by the power of rhythm section Dimitri Farougias (Socr8tes) and Christian Hogan (Monk.) Faulkner is releasing their anticipated debut EP "Americaneur" in the summer promising a set of lyrical axioms with an unapologetic ambition and raw honesty. "
