Lineup: The BoltsUp-and-coming modern rock band, The Bolts, are all the buzz in their local music scene of Southern California. Fusing the best elements of Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, and Fun, The Bolts have created a unique blend of alternative rock that is turning local concert goers into die-hard fans. The entire front-line of the band sings lead vocals and showcase defined multiple harmony unorthodox to the expected indie rock sound. With the release of their debut album in 2013, "Wait 'Til We're Young", The Bolts have earned acclaim as being "one of the best bands in LA", according to Hits Daily Double. Formed in 2007, the band consists of guitarist Ryan Kilpatrick, bassist Addam Farmer, drummer Matt Champagne, keyboardist Austin Farmer, and guitarist Heath Farmer. The Bolts first experienced local success when the band landed five demo songs on the local hour of LA rock radio station, KROQ, after being together less than four months. Soon after, the band earned the title of Orange County’s ‘Best Pop Artist’ from the OC Music Awards. In 2013, The Bolts had their first sold out headliner in Los Angeles, and premiered their self-produced music video for "Wait 'Til We're Young" on MTV Buzzworthy. The Bolts were handpicked as the only local band given the honor of opening the prestigious Sunset Strip Music Festival, as well as landing on the cover of The Huffington Post. The Bolts have also earned numerous music licensing spots with Fox Sports, Delta Airlines, television shows Person of Interest, Degrassi, Necessary Roughness, and the Sobe drink campaign, featuring Sports Illustrated cover supermodel, Kate Upton.
