Lineup: Web Series UnpluggedL.A.’s Premier Monthly Web Series Screening Party Every 3rd Wednesday at El Cid Unplug yourself from the web and watch some great web series with friends, followers and fans!!! Ninety percent of all web series on planet earth are produced in Los Angeles. So every 3rd Wednesday El Cid is overrun by web series directors, actors, producers, writers, make up artists, girlfriends, boyfriends, sisters, brothers..etc., who all come out in full force to watch new content created for the web in front of a live audience for the very first time. No forced “LOL’s”, “I ♥” or “YOU SUCK” to scroll through. For many of these web content creators it’s the first time they’ve tested whether or not people are in truth “LOL”. Founded in June 2010 by event producer Michael McCarthy, this monthly screening party has become the offline gathering point for this emerging scene here in LA.
