Lineup: Sam Outlaw, The Band Of StrangersSam Outlaw is a country singer living in Los Angeles, CA. This year he released his debut EP, produced by Kelly Winrich (Delta Spirit) and toured with Matt Costa. His latest video "Cry For Me" premiered recently on CMT. His live band seeks to emulate the musical dynamic of 60s Pop Country and Alt Country with layered harmonies, pedal steel and words that rhyme with 'sad'. Sam's major musical influences are George Jones, Willie Nelson, Eagles, Poco, Gram Parsons and The Beatles. "The surprise of the night for me though came from Los Angeles based country singer Sam Outlaw. This guy came out on stage and immediately had the audience in the palm of his hand. He delivered one liners about playing country music in LA, which is challenging to say the least, while dipping in an out of some seriously great songs.
