A couple weeks ago, my friend Taya introduced me to TK Nguyen, her good friend and promote at Lock 'N Key. We went to one of his parties, this particular one being The Great Gatsby themed. Let me tell you, this TK guy has it going on. Sure, he knows how to get people to a party. But he also knows how to accommodate by making his party visitors feel like they are special guests in his house. This Sunday, I will be attending one of his daytime parties; after the fun I had at the night party a few weeks ago, I am totally looking forward to it.
What's great about Lock 'N Key, a speakeasy in KTown, is the space. The booths on inside are great, but the outdoor area really gets me. Faux ivy cover the walls. White circle lights drape across the top of the walls to each opposite side like clothes lines. The space is meant for a big-kid picnic.
