Casual and chic, Corkbar is a downtown Los Angeles wine bar that delivers an elegant yet non-stuffy wine tasting experience, inspired by the California wine country. Located on the ground floor of the EVO building, a residential structure, Corkbar is popular with downtown locals as well as those heading to events at Staples Center or LA Live, both located nearby. With lofty ceilings and an open, airy feel, this sophisticated wine bar is decorated with a collection of bottles stuffed into nooks in the walls, going all the way up to the top. Flights of wine are tailored to each individual's tastes, with over 70 wines available by the glass and dozens more by the bottle. Ideal for a business meeting or romantic date, Corkbar serves friendly, fresh California pub cuisine. Sample small plates of cheddar cheese gougères, steak tartar or chicken liver pate, or try a California cheese board served with sliced baguette. Corkbar's extensive wine menu features a range of bottles from some of the state's finest wine-producing regions, including Napa Valley, Santa Ynez Valley, Mendocino and Santa Barbara County. With a relaxing atmosphere, Corkbar elevates the wine-tasting experience to a level of comfort that every Angeleno can enjoy.
