The Avalon is one of those clubs that you absolutely have to go to when you're in Los Angeles. They spin all types of music, from house to hip-hop, trance to old school.

Editorial Review

Avalon packs in the crowd and bumps the music to fist-pumping levels, so you should be comfortable dancing against lots of other strange, sweaty bodies. The sound system is one of the best in Hollywood, and it's really an unforgettable experience when special guest DJs stop by to jam. Avalon will make you feel like you just stepped into the early 90s rave scene if you go on the right nights, but if you're looking for energy, Avalon is electric!

Three venues under one roof voted among the top nightlife establishments in the nation provides modern glamour in an historic trajectory of entertainment expertise.

79 years, 5 name changes, and reels of construction tape has brought us right back where we've started-looking for the next big thing. Hollywood nightclubs have long been the buzz among nightcrawlers seeking out a place large enough cater to all their nightlife needs. Party-goers need not look too far. Starting on Friday nights, Avalon's 1485 space capacity showcases the latest in noteworthy music- ranging from dance to top 40 and R&B hits. Come Saturday, Avalon boasts the best dance promotion this side of the La Brea tar pits, welcoming with open arms such world-renowned djs as Sasha, Digweed, and Paul Oakenfold. Avaland is certainly a wonderland for all those Alices out there looking to slide spontaneously down an unknown rabbit hole. There's even a place to fuel up before or after your dancing experience. Honey, inside Avalon, offers two menus- dinner and late night- to keep you charged up through the drive home at 9am. Reasonable prices and comfy seating allow for anyone to indulge in "the good life" that has long been associated with Hollywood and the envy of social scenes everywhere. Accommodations are also available for any special occasion or event.

Interesting Facts

The dance floor is massively huge and the crowd is relatively friendly for a Hollywood club. The Avalon is best known for Thursday nights as Tiger Heat, the mash-up electro night that is 18 and over, and brings out all the young Hollywood clubbers.

Advance ticket purchases and early arrival (mostly for preferred parking) are highly recommended for this popular locale- because we all know that the last thing you want to be doing on a weekend night is fight for a space that ends up being too small for your car. Dress among club patrons range from casual chic to progressive Hollywood starlet.
