The Room

The Room has the sultry seduction of your typical Hollywood club due to its renovation a few years back, yet it still embodies the quaint and affordable appeal of your local dive bar, which was more detailing of its original form. Ironically The Room is a hidden-gem amongst the crowded "Cahuenga Corridor" scene even though it has been a mainstay in the community since 1993. This is the place where pretentiousness, egos, and attitude take a backseat to quality music, style, and everybody's favorite, stiff drinks!

From Monday to Sunday you can make your way through the dark corridor of an entrance, step through the black curtains and voila you have made it to the place where bottle service is an option and not required for you to take as seat. But if sitting is what you rather do, the music may tell your body to do something entirely different because it tends to be that good. Monday nights come find your sanity at the Social Therapy Group while enjoying some electro and house music. Tuesday night, experience the Premium if hip-hop and mainstream are is your flavor of the month. Wednesday nights are dedicated to the "Soul Survivors" with old schools classics, funk, and R&B provided by DJ's, Tailwind Turner and Tendaji Lathan under the moniker of CherryPoppin'. Thursdays belongs to DJ Adam12 and the world-famous DJs he brings each week to AFEX, which supplies the very best in hip-hop from 1979-1999! Fridays resident DJ Ever.ED.E rocks the spot with top40, dance, pop, & old school hits. Saturday DJ Chris Boogie serves up another dose of the mainstream music for the ultra-chic. The Room has quite a bit of FREE seating for it to be so small. It always has a decent sized smoking patio in the back where you can cool off after dancing to the sweat pours from your soul.
