Ocean Bar owner Jed Sanford also owns restaurant Abigaile's, located on the building's first floor. Local DJs enjoy spinning at this venue because of the amazing, vacation-like ambiance.
This venue is great for celebrating a birthday, and also for a date night. Bring quarters for metered parking, and if you plan on drinking, a night out here is definitely worth the cab money. The upstairs patio remains a hidden gem many nights; book it up there early to avoid crowds.

Loaded proves that sometimes the most fun places are just a little rough around the edges.
Los Angeles is essentially a place without winter, and no one takes better advantage of that than the Upstairs bar at the Ace Hotel, packing in poolside loungers all year round.
Bar Sinister is the premier goth night in Los Angeles, set against a dramatic, beautiful Victorian indoor architecture, and an upstairs area reserved for a little light bondage for the more adventurous people in the crowd.
