One of the biggest things going for Busby’s its size. Huge bar means tons of seating, tons of television viewing spots and just enough room for all your closest and not so close friends to gather for the game. Busby's West is the kind of place every guy wishes to find one day. Less a bar and more like a riff on a (clean) fraternity compound, Busby’s is what sports fans’ dreams are made of. A labyrinth of unusual rooms, all with different and super cool functions, Busby’s is an ideal place to watch the World Cup this season. Flanked by an outdoor area (where smoking is permissible), their first large room is made up extremely worn in and cracked brown leather booths, all of which are semi-circular, so that everyone has a good vantage point to watch the game. At Busby’s no one gets stuck with that awful seat facing the wall. Without seats to fight over (they have couches you can watch from too), you and your friends won’t have to crane your necks to watch your favorite team kick around the Brazuca ball either. There are plenty of televisions everywhere, which means that no matter where you are, you won’t have to take your eyes off the screen. If you need to take a break from their screens during the commercials and stretch your legs, there are plenty of options. To recharge in between matches you can go to one of their game rooms, fully equipped with arcade style video games, a beer pong table, a ping pong table, two pool tables, foosball (in case you want to indulge in a miniature version of a fierce soccer match), darts, and even a skee-ball game. Besides all the awesome mind boggling games (they even have a Scrabble set) to supplement your soccer viewing, the thing that really sets this place apart is its size. Busby’s is truly enormous, which is a major plus when it comes to massive viewing events like the World Cup. If you have a shot at getting a good seat and a good view anywhere in Los Angeles this season, Busby's West is it.
