Everyday is St. Patty's Day in Hermosa Beach. Hennessey's Hermosa Beach is located at the end of Pier Avenue just a few feet from the sand. Large windows bring beach light in, and beach style art brighten up the place. Hennessey's tavern is indeed an Irish-themed tavern with an American twist, but is unique in its use of space. The dine-in crowd can enjoy comfortable indoor booth seating; the drinker crowd car grab a spot at the downstairs bar, or upstairs on the spacious patio. In addition to daily food and drink specials and unique fare such as the Dublin Benedict and Southern Irish Chicken Tenders, Hennessey's has quite the advantage to all other area bars. This advantage is the breathtaking ocean view, which gives off the feel of a beachfront home, and will make you never want to leave. St. Patty's Day weekend is ideal for visiting the well-known tavern. If you are looking for the traditional Irish celebration, then Hennessey's is definitely your go-to. They will have all the traditional Irish favorites, including Harp, Guinness and Car Bombs. The bartending and serving staff is quite friendly, and genuinely happy to be working on the holiday, so don’t be shy about asking for your favorite custom drink or food modifications.
